Globe Telecom recently announced that it has completed the modernization of its major infrastructures in the Davao region and key areas in Mindanao, forming a significant part of the rollout of its brand new network and intensifying mobile services in the vast regions which include Zamboanga and Misamis. Chief Technical Adviser of Globe Robert Tan affirmed that the network build of Globe in Davao and its nearby areas is currently bringing-in better mobile coverage, increased data speeds and better network reliability in that part of the country, noting that “in terms of service quality after the upgrade, our call set-up rate improved dramatically. Now, a call you make in Davao consistently gets connected even at first try.”
